Download Sound Files and Update QSI Sound

The QSI Programmer attaches to your computer using a USB interface. Once installed, you can download the latest QSI sounds for the factory equipped QSI sound locomotives (Q1A sound files) or the new Quantum Revolution decoder (Q2 Sound Files). To update your factory QSI locomotive, you must have the Lucky Flash chip also known as the Q2 upgrade. Many of the latest locomotives have the new chip and older QSI powered locomotives may be upgraded for a small fee. Please see the Q2 Chip upgrade for more information. Load and Modify Sound Files. With older Q1A locomotives, you can update the sound profile with the latest sounds and features. With the Q2 Quantum Revolution decoder, the programmer has expanded capabilities; it is possible to replace sounds as well as update sound profiles. Change CV Settings The QSI Programmer comes with a program to edit CVs Sound Previewing Sounds files loaded into the programmer can be previewed and adjusted.
